World Action Fund (WAF) Uganda in partnership with www.redr.org.uk is organising a training program in four locations in Uganda, to equip, individuals, huminitarian workers with skills and capacity to handle conflicts, disasters, risks, personal safety and cyber threat securities:

ABOUT THE COURSE
This course gives a brief introduction and recap of the key issues that may arise during managing
risks, personal security when working fragile contexts and Cyber Security. This is a five-day
course that will support improved risk mitigation, giving you the chance to understand the risks inherent in threats such as floods,landslides and fire as well as resultant challenges. The course will utilise a variety of learning techniques through group work, visual aids, and plenary discussions.
The course will introduce a variety of measures to help you reduce and mitigate risks to enhance
cyber safety, as well as personal and community wellbeing.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is aimed at humanitarian workers currently working within the sector and individuals involved in humanitarian responses who want to improve their knowledge of approaches to and skills for Risk management,Personal and Cyber Security.
OTHER COSTS
We don’t offer accommodation and other costs, we can help facilitating, reserving and booking on request for trainees, and if nonresident you need to carry along you a valid passport, yellow fever card and personal effects and some transport to and fro the nearest training centre, the best and fair accommodations in hotels ranges from $20-50, Luxury $60-100 per night includes breakfast. Less than $20 don’t include breakfast. In Uganda all costs are the same irrespective of resident and non residents.
